Dalit Lapid
Dalit Steinbrecher is a multidisciplinary creator, designer, and developer of interactive experiences that blend physical and digital media. Her work spans design, art, and technology, exploring themes of memory, identity, urban life, and emotional presence. Based in New York, she holds an MFA from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and a B.Des in Visual Communication from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Her thesis examined how AI-generated facial expressions affect personal and collective memory, research that evolved into an online exhibition and an artist book.
Dalit’s work appears in a range of formats, including interactive installations, books, video, prints, augmented reality (AR) simulations, and participatory web experiences. Alongside her artistic practice, she has extensive experience in interactive product design, developing innovative visual tools for content and tech companies. Her work has earned international recognition (Awwwards, Golden Cactus) and has been featured in campaigns for major Israeli brands like Aroma and April. She combines diverse skills across graphic design, basic programming, UX design, AR, basic electronics, and fine art printing.
