Dalit Lapid - Visual Artist

Dalit Lapid is a Brooklyn-based visual artist and designer working with photography, AI-generated imagery, and textile processes. Her work explores memory, authenticity, and the crafting of personal and collective narratives in the digital age.

a visual artist and designer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work explores memory, image-making, and material processes, focusing on the shifting boundary between documentation and fiction.

Working with photography, AI-generated imagery, and textile interventions, she transforms found and constructed images into tactile objects. Through stitching, weaving, and surface disruption, her practice questions authenticity, emotional ownership, and the shaping of personal and collective histories.

With a background in visual communication and product design, Lapid brings a research-driven and systems-oriented approach to her work. Her ongoing projects examine intergenerational narratives, speculative archives, and the emotional credibility of synthetic images.
